Stanley Boiling Pot + French Press + Vacuum Bottle

Can’t start the day without coffee, right?  And what’s better than French Press coffee, freshly brewed? Not much, you say.  I agree.  So, imagine my delight when I got the opportunity to try out the new 1.1 quart [easyazon_link identifier=”B00MCEVMT0″ locale=”US” tag=”thetra03-20″]Stanley Mountain Vacuum Coffee System[/easyazon_link]. It also comes in a 17 oz. model.

Kudos to the design team on this one. It really is a “system”.  Cups, coffee storage, press and boiling/brewing pot, it all fits together and is made of 18/8 stainless steel.  Best part – it is vacuum insulated and holds hot or cold drinks hot or cold for 12 or more hours.

Simply unscrew all the parts, add water to the outer section of the system and boil. Pour in your coffee grounds (start at 5 tablespoons) and remove from the heat. Steep 2 – 5 minutes, then press.  Pour your coffee into your thermos and it’s ready whenever you are. You’ll be making about five 6 oz. cups. Tasty.
