Just returned from Colombia, South America and brought back some great memories of a unique country. If open skies and roadside food stands are your thing, you’ll be a happy camper here. Honestly, never had a bad meal the entire time we were here and the fresh fruit is to die for.

We visited Medellin (2nd largest city in Colombia) and Guatape, a small lakeside city.  We stayed in a hillside vacation home, called a finca, that was on a huge serpentine reservoir, used by the local power company for electricity generation.  The location couldn’t have been any more picturesque, but we’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.
