Driving through the Lofoten Islands of Norway, the wide vistas screamed out for a panoramic camera.  So here are a selection of my favorites from harbors to beaches to mountain passes.  As beautiful as these are during summer, I can only imagine how elegant they will be this winter with snow on the mountains and the Northern Lights flickering above.  Somebody get me a plane ticket – I want to go back.

I was hosted on this trip by the good folks from Artisan Travel in the UK.  The package I tried was the Best of Northern Norway – 10-Day Self-Drive Tour. They offer a super wide variety of other trips to Norway, Sweden, Finland and more.

Some tours are for groups, while others are self-drive.  You pick which is best for you.
