America’s beloved outdoor retailer L.L. Bean just opened the newest of their new stores in Lyndhurst, a suburb east of Cleveland,Ohio. The 16,000 square foot store in Legacy Village is full of our favorite brands including L.L. Bean, GoPro, Thule, SmartWool, NiteIze and Prism Kites.
Grand opening ceremonies will take place all this weekend, from Friday 11/13 through Sunday 11/15. Here’s a sneak video peak of what’s “in-store.”
Grand opening specials include:
- Friday: Free L.L.Bean Gift Card worth up to $500 to the first 200 customers to come through the door—store opens at 9:00 a.m.
- Friday, Saturday and Sunday: free fly-casting lessons by experts from L.L.Bean’s Outdoor Discovery Schools, slacklining, Bean Boot toss game, giveaways, product representatives from GoPro, Gore-Tex and PrimaLoft demonstrating the latest technologies in outdoor gear and apparel and more
- Saturday and Sunday: enter to win a trip to Maine for a family of four
- Sunday: Kids’ Day–it’s all about the kids with a day of family fun featuring live animal demonstrations, sweet treat giveaways, plus hands-on activities and programs with local Boy and Girl Scout troops
Be sure to enter the drawing for a special painting being given away. L.L.Bean has commissioned renowned Ohio artist John N. Agnew to produce an original painting of the Marblehead Lighthouse during winter on Lake Erie that will adorn the cover of L.L.Bean’s Christmas catalog, one of its largest catalogs, which will be mailed to millions of L.L.Bean customers worldwide.
A reproduced print of this painting will be on display in the new retail store during the grand opening weekend and during this time, customers will have the opportunity to submit their name for a chance to win the print. The winner will be announced later in December.
