Everyone knows that you should wear a personal flotation device (PFD) when out on the water, but then you can’t stuff your shirt pockets with all that stuff you need while you are fishing, boating, paddling, bird watching, hunting, [insert your favorite pastime here.] Well, with the MTI Voyager Highback, you still can.
MTI Voyager
The [easyazon_link asin=”B00BIT5FNE” locale=”US” new_window=”default” nofollow=”default” tag=”thetra03-20″ add_to_cart=”default” cloaking=”default” localization=”default” popups=”default”]Voyager[/easyazon_link] has as many pockets as I’ve ever found in a PFD that’s suitable for general purpose use. With places to stick small binoculars, camera, cellphone, waterproof writing pad, pen and pencil, wallet, ID, and more, this seems like the ideal vest to me. There are even two fleece-lined pockets to keep your hands warm on those nippy cold mornings.
I really like that there are no clumsy clips to mess with. Simply slip it over your shoulders and zip it up. The zippers have long, high visibility yellow pulls making it even easier to handle. This is perfect for seniors or anyone else who has limited range of motion issues.
Reflective patches on the front can be seen easily in a beam of light and it comes with a safety whistle tethered to the left shoulder. Padded shoulder straps and an open mess back make it ideal to wear for hours on end. Made from 500D Cordura nylon, this should last for years.
Remember, the best PFD is the one you will wear. With all these pockets, and comfort to boot, this will be the one I’m wearing. You probably would too.
