If you are a history buff, you’ll love driving around the Mid-Atlantic States.  Revolutionary War, Civil War, whatever; history awaits at just about every major crossroad.  In addition, food is phenomenal in so many unexpected places. With fall leaves changing later in this region, this is a great place to drive during the later part of fall.

One of the foodie destinations I’ve wanted to attend for years now is the Annual Apple Scrapple Festival in Bridgeville, Delaware. This year it’s Friday afternoon 10/12 and all day Saturday 10/13/18.  Hopefully, maybe we’ll see you there.  [Foodie hint:  if you don’t know what scrapple is, don’t ask.]
