Whether you are looking for a premium, last-a-lifetime set for yourself, or you are looking for a super durable set to give as the ultimate gift this holiday season, consider this latest line from Hestan.  We’ve been using one of their pans for the past few months, and it is a real pleasure to use.

What makes it unique?

Nanobond  is a clad stainless steel cookware that incorporates thousands of ultra-dense nanolayers of titanium alloys. That makes it durable and high performance at the same time.

With its core of fast and even heating aluminum, you’ll be cooking much faster than with typical stainless steel pans.

According to the manufacturer, it offers the following multiple advantages:

  • Chemical-free cooking surface is 4 times harder than other clad stainless steel cookware
  • Extremely resilient to scratching and staining for long-lasting beauty
  • Pure aluminum core delivers 35 percent greater conductivity
  • Lighter weight does not compromise performance (in fact this cookware heats up like a Ferrari thanks to its fast and even-heating core of pure aluminum)
  • Flush rivets for easier cleaning
  • Sealed rims are flared to allow for easy pouring
  • Chef-inspired skillets offer 20 percent greater cooking surface than traditional skillets
  • Metal utensil, dishwasher, and induction cooktop safe (and can tolerate up to 1050 degrees Fahrenheit)

All that and beauty too

It’s beautiful to look at, very much resembling the tones of a treasured pewter mug. If you opt for their 10 pc set, you’ll want to get a wall or ceiling rack for them. They are too nice looking to stick in a drawer.

Flexible for multiple uses

We typically cook on an electric range, and the Nanabond line is perfectly adept for that style cooking. But, it can also go into the oven – up to 1050 degrees Fahrenheit.  Don’t try that with conventional pans.

It’s also ideal for our outside cooking – on the patio or at the campsite.  We often use a portable induction cooktop which we take outside onto the patio. Unless your cookware is magnetic, you can’t use it with an induction burner. This Hestan works perfectly, and it’s easy to maintain a steady temperature with the induction heating surface – perfect for keeping appetizers at a consistent temperature.

At the campsite, we can use it with our dual burner propane stove as well. Nothing better than to smell the bacon cooking in the fresh morning air!
