Traveling has always been a joy and we love to explorer new travel destinations. After literally traveling the whole world, our neighborhood does seem slightly limiting.

At the same time, we’re trying to follow the rules. As seniors, we are being totally COVID cautious – masking, social distancing, etc. But after being holed up for quite some time now, we’ve been discussing some options to get back out on the road.

Options for travel:

.

Planes – They’re packing them in again. No thanks.

Car – limited distance – lack of assured restrooms – need sketchy motels if traveling far from home

Hiking – still good for exercise if in remote areas. Limits are distance and number of things to see in one hike.

The answer for travel – an RV

Travel by RV – That’s it

Safe and secure in our own little home away from home. All problems solved – no extra people sitting next to us, a restroom on board, sleeping in the same clean room, night after night, and able to explore unlimited areas. Viola!

We’re already thinking about a trip for next month. Looking for some new destinations to explore here in the Midwest. Leaning toward Michigan and the Upper Peninsula. If you’ve got some ideas, drop us a line at DougBardwell at GMail and we’ll keep you updated on our travels.
