Slide Lite

Slide Lite packs the functionality of its larger brother, the Peak Design Slide strap, but in a smaller package, perfectly suited for mirrorless and light DSLR cameras, yet fully capable of carrying larger cameras as well. I use it for my Nikon D500 with 18-400 zoom lens, not a small rig by any means, or if I’m birding, the P900 above, but it feels quite secure.

Slide Lite can be worn as a sling, neck, or shoulder strap. Seatbelt-style nylon webbing has a smooth side that glides

over clothing in sling mode and a grippy side that prevents slipping in shoulder mode. Dual quick-adjusters provide instant access and easy reconfiguration. Check out this photo of how well the strap grips a rather slick polyester shirt, keeping my large Nikon D500 with SB800 flash from sliding off. That’s the kind of grip I’ve been looking for.
