With winter settling in, the temptation is to take your dog outside for just the minimum amount of time. That’s not best for either you or your dog. With the proper winter jacket, gloves and boots, you can keep plenty warm. Engaging in exercise, both you and your dog will stay fit and have fun at the same time. With enough practice, you might find you’ll want to take that next European vacation with your dog. Send us a photo from Crufts, the world’s biggest dog show.
The easiest exercise is to just go for an extended run or walk in one of your local parks. Build up the distance to at least 30 minutes every other day if possible.
Here, from our friends at Clippers Ireland, are 14 other dog exercises you can both enjoy. Be sure to scroll to the bottom where each breed is matched with appropriate exercises.
