The DO ALL watch<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What truly sets the Suunto Vertical apart is its advanced navigation and mapping capabilities. The watch features intuitive maps with contour lines, water paths, and important landmarks available in three different map styles. It supports offline navigation for maximum safety, communicates with all five major satellite systems via Dual Frequency GPS\/GNSS for faster and more reliable signals, and includes critical tools like an altimeter, barometer, and compass to maintain spatial awareness in demanding environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a photographer, I love the sunrise and sunset feature, which allows me to set timers before each to go outside and check for photo opportunities. Every day it automatically updates the times based on my location.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The watch offers personalized feedback on training load, progress, and recovery calculated through heart rate variability (HRV). Users can use the Suunto app (iOS or Android) to plan and analyze routes. Suunto has a library of downloadable maps covering all 50 states and most of the world, it appears. Downloading takes some time, but the entire state of Ohio only used 650 MB and it looks like I have another 30+ gigabytes for other maps as I travel. This thing is also CONNECTED, with some 200 partner apps like Strava and TrainingPeaks for recording your workouts. With 90 activity types available, you certainly should be able to track your workouts from simple stretching exercises to mountaineering. You’re gonna love this watch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
