Even worse, they leave an uncomfortable, massive bulge in your front jeans pocket that makes you look like you are carrying a baton around. That is exactly why the <strong>Olight ArkPro Ultra<\/strong> completely caught my attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Olight totally threw out the old flashlight rulebook and designed a flat, premium rectangular pocket light that stacks four separate tools into a smooth unibody shell. It handles like a slim appliance remote rather than a clunky tube. If you are tired of everyday carry gear that weighs you down or rolls away when you need it most, this flat profile design is built to change your daily work habits completely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Four Massive Lights and Seven Ways to Use Them<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"900\" height=\"655\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/dougbardwell.com\/db\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/4-beams-cropped.jpg?resize=900%2C655&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-109437\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Olight packed an incredible amount of versatility into this small <strong>4.16-ounce body<\/strong> by giving you four separate light sources. By spinning the built-in, textured rotary dial selector, you can toggle between a massive <strong>1,700-lumen Pure Flood beam<\/strong> and a focused <strong>800-lumen spotlight<\/strong>. To understand what that means, the flood beam behaves like a giant, soft wall of clear light that perfectly fills a dark attic or an entire workspace without any weird color rings. The spotlight is your high-beam option, letting you see much farther out when you are scanning an area or looking for someone lurking in the shadows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"900\" height=\"678\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/dougbardwell.com\/db\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/PXL_20260607_020146971.NIGHT_.RAW-01.jpg?resize=900%2C678&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-109443\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On top of the white beams, you get a high-contrast <strong>365nm UV light<\/strong> with low and high power modes to help spot fluid leaks or stains. Finally, there is a <strong>Class 3R green laser beam<\/strong> controlled by its own dedicated side switch. The real magic is that the green laser can run completely on its own or simultaneously alongside the flood, spotlight, or UV rays. This gives you <strong>7 custom configurations<\/strong>, which means you can illuminate a whole wall with the flood beam while using the laser to point out exact structural spots to someone else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While the light is off, a two-second press locks it, and a one-second press unlocks it. Olight constructed this shell from their proprietary <strong>O-aluminum alloy<\/strong>, which is <strong>1.73 times harder<\/strong> than the standard 6061 aluminum you find on almost every other consumer flashlight on the market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To put that in plain terms, you can accidentally drop this light out of your pocket onto solid concrete or scrape it against jagged metal frames on a site visit, and it will simply shrug off scratches and dents like nothing happened. You can snap Olight&#8217;s magnetic USB charging cable right onto the bottom base, or just use a standard USB-C cable that you already use for your phone or tablet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you run the light on its lowest 1-lumen &#8220;Moonlight&#8221; setting, a single full charge can deliver up to <strong>14 full days of continuous use<\/strong>. That means you will get way more battery survival life out of this tool during a major storm or unexpected power outage than almost any basic flashlight you have ever owned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>A Magnetic Base That Holds Tenaciously<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The hidden superpower of this build sits right in the flat tail-cap.
