When it’s dark outside and you still need to complete your (insert favorite activity here), \u00a0the Pelican 2750 head lamp<\/span> will illuminate your environment and let you keep going until you’re ready to quit.<\/p>\n

Pelican 2750 Head Lamp<\/strong><\/h1>\n

This is the first headlamp I’ve really ever wanted to wear. \u00a0So many of its predecessors were so big and bulky that your neck was liable to get sore from carrying that additional weight. \u00a0The other really light-weight ones could only illuminate things at an arm\u2019s length.<\/p>\n

\"PELICAN<\/a><\/p>\n

At only 3.4 ounces, including 3 AAA alkaline batteries, this is comfortable for hours on end. And wow, does it throw a beam.\u00a0 Boasting 100 lumens on high and 40 lumens on low, you\u2019ll be able to pick out objects 200 feet away on high and 150 feet away on low. That\u2019s more than adequate for running or even biking in the dark.<\/p>\n

Photographers and others who work at night will especially appreciate the third light source, a red LED.\u00a0 This would be used after you\u2019ve been in the dark for a while and your eyes have adjusted to the dark. The red LED won\u2019t bother your night vision, whereas a white light will negate all the adjusting your eyes have done up to that point.<\/p>\n

\"specs\"<\/a><\/p>\n

With the correct combination of switch pushes, the light will cycle through high, low, flashing and off for white and on, flashing and off for red.<\/p>\n

Battery life for such a headlamp seems pretty good to me.\u00a0 Expect almost 4 hours on high and 12 hours on low.<\/p>\n

Water resistant, but not water proof, it should be good in a rain storm. Just don\u2019t take it diving.<\/p>\n
