If there ever were an instrument that was not easy to travel with, it would have to be the drums.\u00a0 With snare drum, toms, bass tom, kick drum, a slew of cymbals and the requisite hi-hat, that\u2019s one heck of a lot of gear \u2013 dare we say a small SUV-full at least. So how to be mobile and still play drums?<\/p>\n

Take three objects that can be conveniently struck with drum sticks, attach spring clips to them and you\u2019ve got three selectable \u201cdrums\u201d.\u00a0 Plug in a base pedal to the Cliphit<\/a> base unit and you\u2019ve got yourself an able \u2013 yet very portable drum set.<\/p>\n

I found that paperback books worked ideally, while some other people preferred hard back books.\u00a0 But anything will work if you can attach the clip\u2026buckets, boxes, lamp shades, you name it.<\/p>\n
