Phiaton has been making headphones for some time and I\u2019ve always been impressed with their quality. You might remember when I reviewed their PS210BTNC<\/span> back in 2012. At the time, they were the best thing going for Bluetooth convenience.<\/p>\n

Well, they\u2019ve upped their game with these new Phiaton BT220NC<\/span> headphones.\u00a0 Using Bluetooth 4.0 technology, you\u2019ll get the best reception ever along with extended range.<\/p>\n

If your smartphone is NFC capable, you\u2019ll appreciate the tap and connect capability for instant pairing. Even without it, they always pair up immediately over standard Bluetooth on my iPhone.<\/p>\n

Multipoint capable, they will connect with two of your devices at once.\u00a0 Now, you can listen to tunes from your tablet while still being able to hear and accept calls from your smartphone. Go ahead, walk around the room, you\u2019ve got plenty of space to roam with Bluetooth 4.0.<\/p>\n

Unless you put your body in over-drive, you aren\u2019t going to out-listen these headphones. The built-in rechargeable battery will keep going for 17 hours of music listening or 300 hours of standby for phone.<\/p>\n

My only complaint to date with the BT220NC is the length of the cord, connecting the receiver to the earbuds.\u00a0 I wish it were just a tidge longer.\u00a0 When I put the receiver in my shirt pocket, or attach it to my shirtsleeve, or cap brim \u2013 no problem.\u00a0 Other times, if I\u2019m shirtless, the only place to attach it is the waistband on my shorts.\u00a0 Or, not\u2026\u00a0 It\u2019s just about one inch too short \u2013 to clip on my shorts when I\u2019m standing.\u00a0 Your mileage may vary.\u00a0 (I\u2019m 5\u20199\u201d.)<\/p>\n

That issue aside, these are great and I\u2019ve used them many times when out cutting the grass on our big riding mower.\u00a0 The noise cancellation really makes a difference. I love it.<\/p>\n
