As such, many of these cool, flying gadgets will be purchased this holiday season for a variety of uses.<\/p>\n<p>You may have heard about them and thought they&#8217;d make a great gift for the tech-enthusiast in your life. If someone on your list this holiday season is enamored with the idea of owning the latest and greatest tech, or is intrigued by aerial film and photography, a drone fits the bill as a fancy gift idea.<\/p>\n<p>To meet the desires of tech enthusiasts and aerial photographers, the team at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.specout.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">SpecOut<\/a> put together a list of the top 10 consumer drones on the market this holiday season. Some of the options on this list are not cheap, costing close to $3,000; however, they are high-quality pieces of cutting edge technology that are probably the only item some people will want as a gift this year. At $300, you still get good quality for a well-built Parrot device with built-in 720p video recording. Parrot&#8217;s smartphone app for controlling the drone is also fun and easy-to-use.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2>#9. For a drone with that kind of camera quality, the $550 Parrot Bebop 2 is a fantastic gift at a modest price.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2>#7. 3D Robotics IRIS+<\/h2>\n<div style=\"width:100%;margin:10px 0;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/w.graphiq.com\/w\/6rx3xJPaK1L\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" style=\"position:static;vertical-align:top;margin:0 auto;display:block;width:600px !important;max-width:100%;min-height:400px;\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<div class='narrative-component'>\n<p class=\"md-p\">This drone is perfect for the person on your list that already owns a GoPro action camera for filming activities. The 3D Robotics IRIS+ does <span class=\"md-bold\">not<\/span> come with a built-in camera, but its 2-axis gimbal supports GoPro cameras perfectly, helping to keep the camera stable while recording your best tricks from above. It&#8217;s also equipped with carbon fiber rotors that will stop immediately upon contacting any surfaces, protecting the drone from damage.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2>#6. Like the 3D Robotics Solo, it has a three-axis stabilization gimbal for steady video, but it also includes a built-in, 4K camera. What more do you need for awesome aerial video?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2>#2. Yuneec Q500 Typhoon 4K<\/h2>\n<div style=\"width:100%;margin:10px 0;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/w.graphiq.com\/w\/kbcZ200MauV\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" style=\"position:static;vertical-align:top;margin:0 auto;display:block;width:600px !important;max-width:100%;min-height:400px;\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<div class='narrative-component'>\n<p class=\"md-p\">It may take a bit of time to learn all of the ins and outs of the Yuneec Q500 Typhoon 4K&#8217;s features and controls, but it&#8217;s well worth it if you have the patience. It has a 4K camera built-in, full carbon fiber body and rotors, and can carry about a pound and a half of added weight. It&#8217;s also capable of flying in temperatures up to 175 \u00b0F, and has a very large variety of recording modes to meet your needs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2>#1. It does have the same camera quality as the Phantom 3 Professional, but one large difference is the ability to fly twice as far away from the controller, up to 2,000 meters.
