Stay turn for pictures from the start of the event.<\/p>\n<p>Since last year\u2019s Cup was a friendly warm-up competition, this year\u2019s event will kick-off with team competitions representing Australia, China, Colombia, France, Japan, Netherlands, Taiwan, Spain, Ukraine, and United States of America, all vying for the grand trophy, medals and cash prizes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTaiwan Cup plays an important role in promoting the nation\u2019s natural scenic beauty and growing bicycle manufacturing industry.\u201d said Trust Lin, Director of Taiwan Tourism Bureau, Los Angeles Office. \u201cTaiwan\u2019s love affair with cycling goes much deeper than competing at the high-profile annual Cup.
