Ifyou are actually planning such a climb, you want to bring back the best imagespossible to actually portray the wonders you experienced.<o:p><\/o:p><\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">Shooting from mountaintops is considerably different thanshooting in Cleveland or most anywhere else you probably live, and that\u2019s whyAlexandre Buisse wrote this book, <i style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\">RemoteExposure \u2013 a guide to hiking and climbing photography<\/i>.&nbsp; It\u2019s a great compendium of all sorts ofpractical advice in selecting what to bring and how to use it to its bestadvantage.<o:p><\/o:p><\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">First Buisse describes the equipment needed and how to carryit (dropping equipment on a mountain side is usually disastrous.) Then he givessome great tips about avoiding condensation and dust on your LCD. I neverrealized that I could help avoid dust on my LCD by making sure the camera wasturned off when changing lenses. Turns out that reduces static electricity, whichcreates the magnetic attraction of dust to the LCD itself.<o:p><\/o:p><\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">An entire chapter is devoted to the \u201cart\u201d of compositionbecause lots of uninteresting shots are never the measure of success. He thengoes into the differences to be aware of in camping, hiking, technical climbingand mountaineering.
