Here, we’ve got a list of destinations in an area we love – the Mid-Atlantic region of the US that we think would make for perfect summer getaway destinations. We’ve been to most of them, and the rest are on our bucket list.\u00a0 So, here, compliments of the MId-Atlantic Tourism Public Relations Alliance, are a select list of ideas for that special getaway.<\/p>\n

Delaware’s Quaint Villages
\n<\/b>Delaware’s Quaint Villages is home to some of the best year-round “off-the-beaten path” camping locations in Kent County. Camp under the stars at Smyrna’s Blackbird State Forest or at Felton’s Killens Pond State Park. Both offer birding, outdoor activities, and more.
