When you got that first pair of Bluetooth headphones, you\nlooked forward to a full day of music if you were like most people.\nWhoops.  After six hours, they just\nstopped, and you needed to recharge. Bummer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That won\u2019t happen if you replace those first gen headphones\nwith the newest from Mixcder \u2013\nModel E9 acive cancelling, over the ear headphones<\/a>. And,\nright up front, I\u2019ve got to tell you, they are available\nat a price not to be matched<\/a> for the quality. Only $79.99 plus\n$1.50 shipping. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

This is the\nheadphone you\u2019ll find in my backpack<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve reviewed numerous headphones over the years, but this is\nmy current \u201cgo-to\u201d headphone for morning workouts at Planet Fitness, all-day\nwriting excursions to Panera, and late at night when I want to rock my head\nwith great music while not waking up my wife. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

The battery is rated for up to 30 hours in wireless mode and\n80 hours in wired mode.  Yep \u2013 you can\nuse it either way. I\u2019ve yet to wear out the battery, but I typically recharge\nthem when I go to bed every couple nights or so.  A simple micro-USB port lets me charge from\neither a wall jack when I\u2019m home or a portable power bank while on a trip. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

All day\ncomfort<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many headphones that claim to be comfortable all day don\u2019t\nreally cut it.  These honestly do.  Sure, I\u2019ll reposition them a couple times\nduring the day, but normally I\u2019m never even thinking about them \u2013 just enjoying\nmy epic tunes and the hammering bass. \n(It\u2019s all about the bass \u2013 in case you haven\u2019t heard.) But the mids and\nhighs are equally impressive. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve rarely used the ANC feature. The earcups seal so well, I\nreally don\u2019t need it.  On my next plane trip,\nI\u2019m sure I will, but until then, I\u2019ve got no complaints with it in normal mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

It pairs quickly to either my computer, my Samsung S8 phone\nor my iPad for watching videos.  When\nbiking or walking at the gym, it never strays like some others that required\nyou to reposition them every 15 minutes or so. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not just\nfor music<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

They work ideally well with my phone to make and take\ncalls.  People say they can\u2019t hear a\ndifference whether I\u2019m holding my phone or talking through the headphones. Upon\ncall completion my music resumes automatically. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A quick press of the power button pauses or restarts your\nmusic.  There are also separate + and \u2013\nbuttons for volume control from the headset. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pack and go<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When it comes time to put them away in your backpack, you\u2019ve\ngot options.  It comes with a great\nprotective case, and the earpieces fold 90 degrees for it lays flat with\nminimum thickness.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can also collapse the earpieces into the crown piece for\na bundle just bigger that a large fist.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Need to\nsave even more?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are also two other E models with slightly reduced specs\nand even less expensive than the E9.  The\nE8 and E7 both share 40mm drivers with 18 and 20-hour playtimes,\nrespectively.  They can be had for $10 or\n$20 less than the E9.  They are however,\nslightly heavier at 288g and 272g, compared to the E9\u2019s 255g.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
