(assuming you know your home network name, password, etc.) You never even need to touch your router.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each time you set up Brilliant to talk to one of your devices\nlike the Nest thermostat or your Amazon Alexa account, it will require you to\nconnect with that vendor for authorization to connect, but the installation\nprogram walks you through each step.&nbsp; You\u2019ll\nneed your email setup handy, because for each application it sendsv a separate\nauthorization code you\u2019ll need to enter.&nbsp;\nSimpler than it sounds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No additional hubs, wiring or batteries are needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you\u2019re done, you\u2019ll have a convenient place to turn on\nlights, adjust your home\u2019s temperature, let people in with your Ring doorbell\nand smart locking system as well as all the features offered through Alexa. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lights can be adjusted and dimmed with simple touch and\nslide swipes or a simple tap to turn on 100%. When not controlling one of your\ndevices, the screen can display your favorite photos, or an assortment of\nscenic photos already included \u2013 up to fifty photos altogether. Photos need to\nbe loaded through the mobile app. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Separate scenes can be programmed to adjust lighting, music and temperature all at once.&nbsp; With motion sensor, you can set lights to go off if no one is in the room. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With more than one switch installed, you\u2019ll also have an internal intercom setup with video and audio.&nbsp; You can make announcements all through the house or to any specific unit.
