With Halloween just around the corner and total spending on related expenses projected to reach $8.8 billion this year, the personal-finance website WalletHub today released its\u00a02019\u2019s Best Places for Halloween<\/a>\u00a0report as well as\u00a0accompanying videos<\/a>, along with fun and interesting stats about the holiday in its\u00a0Halloween Facts: Tricks & Treats By the Numbers<\/a>\u00a0infographic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Where<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Now that you know where to go, might I suggest some worthwhile safety tips<\/strong> so you enjoy the festivities?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are just a few from the American Red Cross:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Trick-or-treaters need to see and be seen.
    – Use face makeup instead of masks which make seeing difficult.
    – Give trick-or-treaters a flashlight to light their way.
    – Add reflective tape to costumes and trick-or-treat bags.
    – Have everyone wear light-colored clothing.<\/li>
  2. Use flame-resistant costumes.<\/li>
  3. Make sure adults know where the kids are going. A parent or responsible adult should accompany young children door-to-door.<\/li>
  4. Be cautious around animals, especially dogs.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
