Finally, a security system without those \u201chardly hidden\u201d cameras all over the place.  This Hex Home system, by Origin Wireless<\/a>, is a breeze to install (under 10 minutes) and offers a number of advantages over a camera-based system. To the casual observer, it appears to be a nightlight that glows slightly when it sees motion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The base module for the system (called the Hex Command) is simple to install. Just plug the power adapter into the wall and plug the other end into the command unit.  Set it on a table, shelf, etc. or hang it on the wall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then install sensors (called Hex Sense) in any areas you wish to monitor. The install consists of three simple steps:  1) take it out of its box and 2) sync it with the app by taking a photo of the QR code, and then 3) plug it into a 110v outlet. Then, just follow the instructions in your app and set your preferences. To increase coverage and resolution, additional Hex Senses can be added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
