With Christmas just ten days away, shoppers were crowding the Christkindlmarkt in Bethlehem, PA.<\/p>\n

\"Christkindlmarkt\"<\/a>Located adjacent to the decommissioned steel blast furnaces of Bethlehem Steel, this area has been converted to a local center of crafts and the performing arts. Over 200 vendors from 20 different states are displaying their wares \u00a0for shoppers this season.<\/p>\n

Outside, glassblowers were creating delicate Christmas ornaments. Inside wood carvers were turning wooden toys. People were also creating their own hand-painted scarfs in long liquid-filled tanks.<\/p>\n

This craft market was recognized by Travel and Leisure Magazine as one of the top holiday markets in the world.<\/p>\n
