\"Ogio<\/a>Looking for a new, full-featured backpack?\u00a0 You\u2019d do well to check out the Renegade RSS<\/span> model. Ogio has always made great packs, but this one packs all the \u201cmust-have\u201d features into one dynamic, 1900 cubic inch, 3.6# pack. Pockets and compartments galore \u2013 there\u2019s plenty of places to put all the electronics and gadgets a flashpacker could possibly carry.<\/p>\n

In the back, where it should actually be, is an armored laptop pocket with iFOM integrated foam panels that cushion your laptop on all sides. It\u2019s a top accessed, drop-in style. The slot measures 19.5\u201dx13\u201dx1.5\u201d. The RSS name signifies a Reactive Suspension System which provides additional support and cushioning for your laptop should your bag get dropped.<\/p>\n

\"Ogio<\/a>The main compartment in front of the laptop sleeve holds a good-sized load of books or clothes. In front of that compartment are two more progressively smaller compartments. One has a padded sleeve for iPad and accessories. The other has a wealth of organizer slots for pens, memory cards, change, and whatever other small items you have.<\/p>\n

Two more compartments are found higher up. One is a molded, crush-proof pocket with divider suitable for protecting sunglasses or delicate electronics. The one below is perfect sized for passports, wallets, or your portable hard drives.<\/p>\n

Each side of the backpack also features two more easily accessible outside pockets \u2013 one padded for cameras or camcorders and one mesh pocket for carrying chargers, adapters and the like. The mesh pockets can also serve as drink holders \u2013 one has an elastic strap and one has a mini-bungee cord to secure water bottles or pop bottles.<\/p>\n

\"Ogio<\/a>The shoulder straps are heavily padded for comfort and have an adjustable sternum strap to make sure the pack stays put when you are moving around. \u00a0A quick access expandable phone pocket is available on one of the straps.<\/p>\n

The back of the pack is heavily padded and is quite comfortable to carry even for extended periods.<\/p>\n

This is a great pack that takes a load of gear with great organization capabilities. I\u2019ve yet to find a situation when I couldn\u2019t pack everything I needed for a day of exploration or travel. Just finished a 10-country, two-week jaunt around Europe and this was the bag I chose to take. I\u2019m happy I did.
