and a gold mine of information

A resource guide for human trafficking and sex trafficking

For those of you who are new to the field of preventing human trafficking, reading up on the problem is a great way to start. You’ll discover many things you never imagined or expected. I know I did.

I received an email from Tim Barclay, a senior health writer and educator for Innerbody Research. He told me about a new publication of theirs called Resources for Victims of Human and Sex Trafficking Guide.

He writes, “We wrote this extensive guide to help victims and other readers get the help and information they need regarding this horrific crime. As this topic gains more attention on social media, it also opens up the opportunity for the spread of misinformation. We included definitions, trafficking myths, helpful resources, and protection tips.

“We want to make sure this resource guide gets the exposure it deserves on many great platforms like yours to help others be more aware and vigilant.”

There’s a ton of great content here, like how to recognize the signs of trafficking, and some myths promulgated on various social networks.

The resource is well-written and well-documented. I highly recommend it.
