Just about every child wants a new smartphone for Christmas, and much to Apple’s delight, many are getting them. Take just a moment though and think about both the advantages and disadvantages before leaving that gift in the stocking.

As missingkids.org points out below, a smartphone could be the start of someone cyberbullying your child. Or worse yet, it could allow your child to become a cyberbully.
Assuming the best, it’s still worthwhile to read these few guidelines before Christmas gift-giving time.
