Many people have a hard time wrapping their head around human trafficking victims. A common phrase is “all they have to do is just run away!” If you’ve heard that before, or if you’ve thought it, welcome to the world of the ill-informed.
Tamara Cherry is an award winning journalist who has interviewed and reported on many human trafficking victims in her career. She has recently released a novel that will help bring home the tragedy of human trafficking, so the average person can grasp the situation from the victim’s perspective.
