Women in developing countries are making new lives for themselves by selling gently used clothing instead of being trafficked for sex. The organization FREE THE GIRLS actually packs up gently used or like-new bras and sends them to one of three countries where there is a market for used clothing. Selling just four bras provides a day’s worth of income for that girl’s family.
And, there are local drop-off spots across the US that will pack and ship your used bras to Free the Girls locations, so all you have to do is drop them off. Why not ask around your entire family, collect a dozen or so and drive to your local drop location. They’ll take it from there.
