Not a pretty scenario, for sure.  But this is the reality for many children and\nteens across America \u2013 in every state and possibly every city. It\u2019s not much of\na stretch for them to consider running away, maybe more than once.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The immediate problem is that running is usually only an immediate\nand temporary solution.  What do you do\nnext? Where do you go? Even worse, who do you trust?  A child in this situation is a ripe target\nfor human trafficking, forced labor or the sex trade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
