When you take the practicality of a docking station and pair it with Alexa’s versatility, you’ve got a winning combination.  Such is the latest in the line of Azpen DockAlls.

Azpen DockAll Pro

Azpen Innovation adds two Alexa-enabled models

The D310 which I tested recently, is the Qi Wireless Charging model, specifically made to accommodate iPhone, iPads, and some Samsungs, etc.

In addition to wireless charging capability. they also have two additional USB ports on the back for charging any additional items.

The DockAll Amazon Alexa Ai Wireless Charger can handle phones and tablets up to 13” tall.  10 watts of built-in power provide the famous fast charging capability found in the latest iPhone and Samsung models.

Music from multiple sources

In addition to playing music from your iPhone or iPad, there are a number of other ways to enjoy it.

Each unit has a microSD slot in the back so you can load it with up to 64GB of tunes or podcasts and replay it through the DockAll’s dual speakers.  The DockAll’s support MP3, WMA and WAV files.

The DockAll will also serve as a speakerphone for conversations or Skype telephone calls.

Then there’s Alexa, ready to stream your latest playlist or album selection directly from the Internet.  Setup is relatively simple, connecting the DockAll to your local network.

My only frustration with the DockAll is that the modes are all selected by toggling the “M” mode switch.  Taps on the faceplate of the unit will cycle between available modes.  Touch it too long and it will reset to factory settings. The difference between tap and touch is too similar for my liking. I accidentally reset the unit three times in a row before discovering I needed to tap the control.

Other than that little frustration, I love the size, the sturdiness and the sound of the DockAll Pro.  Having all of Alexa’s functionality is icing on the cake.

Disclosure:  Azpen provided us with a D310 unit to complete this review, but, as always, opnions are strictly our own.
