I’ve been using the udoq 400 recently for charging all my electronic devices, including iPhone, Samsung S8, iPod Classic and iPad Mini4. Each of those four devices requires a separate style charging plug, and the udoq charger/docking station has room for each.

My udoq 400 stand has four different style charging adapters for different manufacturers devices

As your charging needs change, you can easily slide the charging adapters to different points on the rail.

Depending on the brands of your devices, and the number of your devices, you can start with a small 250 Rail, measuring 9.84 inches, or the one I’m using – the 400 rail, which is 15-3/4” in length.  If you’ve got a whole family’s worth of devices, they also make the 550 and 700 rails, measuring up to 27-1/2” long.

Each rail is high-grade aluminum, built to last, and nicely fitted with plastic feet to prevent slipping, scratching or sliding on your bedside table or desk.

The udoq400 comes with a 5-port power adapter that holds all the connectors plus has one additional port for an extra charging cable.  A cable box houses the power adapter and lets you wrap all the cords neatly inside.

Not only can you select the various rail lengths, you have a choice of four connectors/cables.

  • C Cable works for USB-C devices
  • M Cable works for micro-USB devices
  • T Cable is for the old style 30-pin Apple devices
  • L Cable works for Lightning Apple devices

Not only will the multiple connectors enable you to future-proof your udoq charger,  each connector is also adjustable to four different heights; so, if your phone is in a thick case, the actual connection can be raised to accommodate it.  Simply snap open the connector case, move the fitting to a higher slot, close the connector and reinstall.  After the cables are installed in the rail, they can still be slid from one side to the other, for on-the-go remodeling. That;s what I had to do with the case on my Samsung S8 which was 6mm thick.

In addition, if your device’s case has a stand on the back, provided it’s 15mm thick or less, your device will fit without removing it.  15mm is pushing it, but that’s what you see here with my Handle Plus for my iPad.

Buy a new device?  Simply buy a new connector if the charging cable is different than the one you already use.  The rail should never become obsolete.

Additional options include a special bracket to mount your udoq on the wall. Also, there’s a special adapter you can get to charge your Apple watch. There’s even an adapter for wireless charging.

UDOQ Configurator lets you design the channel of your choice. Simply select all the devices you wish to charge and the online tool will display them in correct proportion and help you select the proper width rail and connectors.  From there, simply add it to your cart and await its arrival.
