Most everyone would agree that human trafficking needs to end, that it’s a terrible scourge on humanity. But, how can one person help? I guess the simple answer is…
“Do Something.”
That’s why I started this blog. I don’t know who will read it, but I trust in God’s infinite power that those who need to hear it’s message, will somehow find it when the time is right for them. I hope to publish both ideas for those being trafficked as well as those who want to help.

Find an organization and get involved
Here are seven organizations that are actively “doing something.” For a full explanation of each, see this article by Natalie Jesionka on The Muse. Maybe one of them would be of interest to you for further involvement:
Polaris Project runs the National Human Trafficking Hotline.
Prajwala rescues from brothels in India.
COSA provides services for young women trafficked in Thailand.
Urban Light works to help men and young boys stuck in trafficked operations.
Student World Assembly’s Red Card Project brings attention to trafficking at major sporting events
Good Weave helps prevent child labor trafficked in the handmade rug industry in Asia
Empower Foundation recognizes that some people willing work in the sex trade but still want humane treatment.
These are just the start of organizations that want to help those exploited by traffickers. We’ll bring you a list of government agencies that are also active in the near future. In the meantime… go do something. Anything.

You say do something, anything but offer no suggestions.
Hi Joshua,
I’d suggest you reread the article – there are seven organizations listed that can help you “do something,” if you are really interested.
Cheers,
Doug
